Jacob See purchased the property in 1878 with just the barn you see today constructed.  He built the house and additional buildings and they have been in the family since, which qualifies the property as a Century Farm.  We offer free tours of the property which also features multiple pieces of historic equipment and showcases the beauty of Elizabeth Township. The See/Curtis lineage stretches all the way to the Revolutionary War. Two members of the family who served then are buried less than two miles from the Homestead.
